Terms of use

Welcome to Tokr™, a product of Tokr Inc. These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Tokr platform, including the website, web app, mobile apps, and any related services (collectively, the “Service”).

By accessing or using Tokr, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the platform.

1. Eligibility

To use Tokr, you must:

  • Be at least 21 years old

  • Reside in a U.S. state or jurisdiction where cannabis is legal

  • Use Tokr only in compliance with applicable laws and regulations

Tokr is not available to individuals in jurisdictions where cannabis use is prohibited by law. We reserve the right to restrict access in any location where the platform may violate local or federal law.

2. Community Standards & Prohibited Conduct

Tokr is a space for responsible cannabis culture. You agree not to use the platform to:

  • Sell, promote, or attempt to facilitate the sale of cannabis or controlled substances

  • Encourage, depict, or promote irresponsible, unsafe, or excessive cannabis use

  • Post content unrelated to cannabis culture (e.g., spam, off-topic promotions)

  • Share explicit, hateful, threatening, harassing, or otherwise harmful content

  • Impersonate another person or misrepresent your identity

  • Reverse-engineer, manipulate, or interfere with the Tokr platform or its services

All content posted on Tokr must align with responsible use guidelines.
We do not allow posts that glamorize abuse, addiction, illegal activity, or unsafe behavior related to cannabis. Use cannabis legally and responsibly — and represent it that way on Tokr.

3. Content Moderation & Strike System

To keep the Tokr community safe and aligned with our mission, we actively moderate the platform.

  • Posts or videos unrelated to cannabis culture will be removed

  • Content violating community guidelines will result in a strike

  • After three (3) strikes, your account will be permanently banned

Tokr reserves the right to remove content or suspend accounts at any time, at our sole discretion.

4. User Content & Rights

You retain ownership of any content you post on Tokr.
By posting on the platform, you grant Tokr Inc. a limited, non-exclusive license to display, reproduce, and distribute your content within the Tokr ecosystem, including mobile, web, and promotional formats.

You are solely responsible for your content. Do not post anything you don’t own or have the right to share.

5. Privacy & Data Use

Your privacy matters. Please read our Privacy Policy to understand how we collect, store, and use your data.

  • Tokr does not sell your personal data

  • We do not share private data with advertisers

  • You can set your profile to private in your account settings

  • You can delete your account and data at any time

6. Advertising

Tokr does allow cannabis-friendly advertisers on the platform. However:

  • Ads are shown based on general content behavior, not private data

  • We do not use your private messages or AI Budtender chats for ad targeting

  • All ads must comply with local laws and Tokr’s internal advertising guidelines

7. AI Budtender Disclaimer

The Tokr AI Budtender is an automated tool that provides general cannabis information and guidance based on user input.
It does not provide medical advice.
Always consult a licensed healthcare provider before making decisions about cannabis or other substances.

8. Platform Availability & Modifications

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue parts of Tokr at any time — including features, design, or functionality — with or without notice. We are not liable for any service interruptions or data loss that may occur.

9. Disclaimers & Limitations of Liability

Tokr is provided “as-is” and “as available.” We make no warranties, expressed or implied, including but not limited to fitness for a particular purpose or non-infringement.

Tokr Inc. is not liable for any damages, injuries, legal consequences, or other liabilities that may arise from use of the platform or reliance on information found within it.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms periodically. If we make material changes, we’ll notify users in-app or via email. Your continued use of Tokr after an update constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
